- Claude Code adds no extra content. Other clients (SDKs, curl and third-party tools) include a system prompt on each request, billed as input tokens: about 350 for Sonnet 4.6 and 500 for the 5.x series.
- MiMo list prices are Xiaomi's published overseas USD usage rates, checked on October 23, 2026.

Pricing questions
Input and output use Anthropic list prices multiplied by the model discount, as low as 19% of list price. Cache reads and writes use list prices without a discount. See pricing for each model and the pricing guide for the calculation.
Cache reads and writes use Anthropic list prices without a discount and are itemized in usage logs. Input and output receive the model discount.
Console usage logs list the model, token usage, list price and discounted price for every call.
