Chatbox One-Click Import and Configuration
Import Chatbox from the API Key page and verify API Host, path, model, and key.
Chatbox 1.15.1 and later supports provider JSON and chatbox://provider/import. The desktop version must be installed and launched once first. For the web version or systems without a registered protocol, use clipboard import.
One-Click Import
Section titled “One-Click Import”- Open API Keys in the console, find the key you want to use, and go to Use Tools → Chatbox.
- Select a chat model available for this key, then click Open Chatbox and allow the browser to open the app.
- Confirm the import in Chatbox and check the provider address and model. If a configuration with the same name already exists, first verify the scope of the overwrite.
- Send a short message and check the model and request time in the call logs on this site.
Clipboard and Manual Configuration
Section titled “Clipboard and Manual Configuration”If the app does not launch, copy Chatbox JSON from the same panel, then go to provider management in Chatbox settings and choose to import from the clipboard. You must delete settings.apiKey before sharing with others.

Fill in Host and Path separately; do not add /v1 to both fields at once. If there is no model, first fetch the model list or add one manually; capabilities such as images, embeddings, and tool calls must each be verified separately — do not treat an arbitrary model as a chat model.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- App does not open: confirm the app is installed and has been launched, unblock this protocol in the browser, or use clipboard import.
- 401 after import: check whether the key is valid and contains no spaces.
- 404: confirm the final path is
/v1/chat/completionsand has not been concatenated twice. - Model does not exist: use the exact ID from the model list; do not guess based on the display nickname.

This site has implemented configuration generation and frontend regression testing; real inference verification across all clients, systems, and models has not been completed.
